It'd be a shame if someone shoved a TT pentastar under that hood behind an AWD drivetrain.
Oh, did I say 'a shame'? Because I meant TOTALLY FUCKIN' AWESOME

between TT, penatart and the diffs needed for AWD, dont think there is room.

Something tells me a 2.4 turbo would suffice. And probably what they'll be doing. Unless they shove the 3.2 from the Cherokee in there.

'Safer'? PFFT all of planet earth is unsafe given a large enough timescale. Live life while you have it to live, and *floor it on the turnpike at 8 pm like there is no traffic anywhere.
*(Don't do this please)

But it's still a dodge.
Sorry had to, as I hated my last car (a dodge). It wasn't all bad though. And I absolutely LOVE the charger/challenger/viper.

You're not thinking outside the box. 1. Cut hole in hood and add hood scoop
2. Cut holes to fit anything in floor and firewall.
3. Weld new sheet metal over new holes
4. Profit

AWD drivetrain? possible. But not the engine change. But has there been enough demand for this car to make that change?

Do it the way of the subie. Front transaxle with a driveshaft to the rear. Shove that itty bitty motor all the way up just like Audi likes to and it'll work.
